Originally from New York, Bryan Valderrama built his career producing in talk shows—both long-running franchises and high-intensity start-ups. From there, he transitioned into casting, where he became known for finding compelling, real-world talent and shaping story-driven ensembles for unscripted series, especially gritty docu-follows.
A key moment in Bryan’s career came when he independently created and produced the sizzle for 8 Minutes, a daring show that sold to A&E. He went on to serve as Executive Producer on both the pilot and full series.
Bryan spent the past two years as head of casting at This Is Just a Test Media, where he led casting for both development and greenlit projects, collaborating across departments and platforms. He is currently a Casting Producer on HGTV’s House Hunters.
Breaking the Game, a new talk show and podcast hosted by private investigator Monica Morton, is Bryan’s latest passion project. As Executive Producer and co-creator, he helped develop the show's bold format, tone, and guest experience—bringing his signature edge and heart to a show that aims to spark real conversation and impact.
